Morse Clinics Mobile Opioid Treatment Program: Expanding Access, Saving Lives

Morse Clinics is proud to operate North Carolina’s first Mobile Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) unit, launched in July 2025 in partnership with the NC Department of Health and Human Services and Healing Transitions. This groundbreaking initiative brings life-saving care directly to communities—reducing barriers and expanding access to treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

What Is a Mobile OTP Unit?

The Mobile OTP is a fully equipped clinic on wheels, offering:

• Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) such as methadone and buprenorphine

• Onsite counseling and intake assessments

• Dosing services for current patients

• Immediate access for new patients seeking treatment

Licensed professionals staff this mobile unit and adhere to all federal and state OTP regulations. It is designed to meet patients where they are, literally and figuratively, by removing transportation and scheduling barriers that often prevent people from accessing care.

Hours of Operation:

Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 9:30 am

The North Raleigh Mobile OTP unit is currently stationed at Healing Transitions in Raleigh, where it serves both Healing Transitions participants and the general public.

The mobile unit is also open to:

• Current Morse Clinics North Raleigh patients, who can dose at the mobile unit.

• New patients, who can begin treatment with full intake and counseling services onsite.

The locations are part of a broader effort to integrate mobile treatment into community recovery ecosystems, making care more accessible and responsive.

One participant summed it up powerfully:

“It has saved my life.” Anonymous

This is the heart of our mission—to save lives, restore hope, and build healthier communities.
