Thanks to Wake County Opioid Settlement funding, Healing Transitions and Morse Clinics have joined forces to bring life-saving care directly to the Healing Transitions campus. A Morse Clinics Mobile Unit now sits onsite in the mornings, offering Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) and counseling to participants, right where they need it most.

On November 12, 2025, Healing Transitions hosted a Round Robin Meeting with:

•          Justin Garrity & Matt Collins, Healing Transitions

•          Billie Avery & Gwen Baugh, Morse Clinics

•          Kellie Crosbie, NC DMHDDSUS

•          Alyssa Kitlas, Opioid Settlement Program Manager

•          Healing Transitions participants

This meeting created a safe space for participants to share what was working and what needed improvement, directly with state and local decision-makers.

One participant said it best:

"It has saved my life." (Healing Transitions & Morse Clinics Mobile Unit).

That’s why we do this work. To save lives. To build hope. To heal together.

💬 Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed. Your voices are shaping the future of recovery services in Wake County.

🌀 Full circle: sharing, listening, and growing.

"We heal best when we heal together."
