The Morse Force showed up in full strength at NC ATOD 2025, painting the conference room in waves of red and black! Held on September 11 & 12 at the Embassy Suites in Greensboro, NC, this year’s conference was a vibrant gathering of professionals dedicated to advancing opioid treatment—and we were proud to be part of it.
It was more than just a conference—it was a reunion. We reconnected with old friends, forged new relationships, and shared stories that reminded us why we do what we do. And yes, we’ll be seeing many of these new faces again next year!
🔍 Main Topics at NC ATOD 2025This year’s theme was Best Practices in Opioid Treatment, with sessions tailored for nurses, counselors, administrators, and support staff working in Medically Assisted Treatment. Key topics included:
Implementation of MAT programs in correctional settings
Peer coaching vs. clinical treatment in recovery
Nutritional influences on OUD treatment
Ethical care for sexual and gender diverse patients
Addressing workforce deficits in addiction services
💡 Morse Clinics Leading the Charge
We were especially proud to see our own team members take the stage:
Dr. Eric Morse facilitated a powerful session on OTP Regulatory Changes Increasing Access to Care, sparking vital conversations about expanding treatment via mobile units.
Kristin Brockman led a session on Nursing in the OTP, highlighting the critical role nurses play in patient care and program success
From insightful discussions to energizing connections, NC ATOD 2025 was a celebration of progress, passion, and purpose. Until next year—stay bold, stay focused and keep making a difference. 💪
